AL-LAJJOUN SEPTAGE TREATMENT PLANT/KARAK

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Upgrading and Expansion of Al-Lajjoun Septage treatment Plant. The upgrading consists of :

.Modifying the existing treatment plant, using aerated lagoons system followed by constructed wetland utilizing ponds as polishing ponds.

.The existing facultative ponds will be converted to aerated lagoons.

.Rock media will be added to the existing maturation ponds to act as rock filters.

.Two new reed beds and a storage tank for irrigation water will be constructed.

For sludge removal and drying dredging machine will be supplied and drying beds will be constructed.
